  • Michelle DeWolfe | LCSW-C

Specializing in Adult Trauma, Anxiety & Depression Utilizing Somatic & EMDR

Michelle DeWolfe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) in Texas who works primarily with adolescents, young adults, and adult individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, and depression.

Do you find yourself feeling overwhelmed by past experiences, stuck in patterns that are hard to break, or struggling with persistent anxiety or low mood? You might notice how your emotions show up physically in your body, impacting your sleep, energy, or daily functioning. Whether you’re dealing with unresolved trauma, self-harm urges, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty finding balance, these challenges can feel isolating—but you don’t have to navigate them alone.

In addition to trauma, anxiety, and depression, Michelle works with clients experiencing women’s issues, self-harm, suicidality, mood instability, adolescent challenges, and difficulties related to daily functioning such as sleep, eating patterns, and behavioral activation.

    Michelle’s Therapy Style

Michelle takes a collaborative, person-centered approach, working with you to understand how your experiences, emotions, and behaviors are interconnected. Together, you will develop a structured and supportive plan to help you move toward meaningful and lasting change.

She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based approach that helps individuals process and heal from trauma and distressing life experiences. Michelle also integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients build psychological flexibility and align their actions with their values.

In addition, she draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Somatic Experiencing to address both the emotional and physical impact of mental health challenges. Michelle emphasizes the mind-body connection, helping clients recognize how their body holds and communicates their experiences while developing tools to restore balance and well-being.

She believes that every person’s story deserves to be heard and understood. Michelle meets clients where they are, taking the time to truly get to know them while creating a safe and supportive space for growth. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when both the mind and body are acknowledged, and when clients feel empowered to make meaningful connections between their experiences and their current patterns.

Michelle is passionate about guiding clients toward a healthier, more balanced state of mental wellness—helping them reconnect with themselves and move forward with greater clarity, resilience, and purpose.
