Jennell Ellis, a native of Jacksonville, Fl. is a first generation graduate and a graduate student of the Master of Social Work program at Louisiana State University. Jennell has worked in social services since 2020; she is passionate about helping children, teens, young adults, and couples.
Jennell’s Therapy Style
Jennell takes an interpersonal therapeutic approach to truly support and navigate clientele through adverse situations all while building a trusting and safe relationship with clients. Jennell creates a space of trust and growth for all of her clients. Jennell is able to make sessions fun and engaging for children and adults, alike, while also assisting clients .
Jennell specifically works well with newlywed couples, highly motivated individuals and clients with strong spiritual backgrounds. She is also skilled in crisis intervention.
During her spare time she serves in her church, enjoys traveling with her husband, reading books, and frequenting her favorite ice-cream parlor. As a small town girl living in a “bigger” city, Jennell genuinely enjoys making true connections with people and embracing the beauty of each moment of the day. I am elated to embark on this journey here at The Woolf Center and help you find your joy!
