Pritika Sehgal | LMFT
Specializing Adults and Couples in Trauma, Anxiety & Emotional Regulation Utilizing DBT & EMDR
Pritika Sehgal, LMFT (she/her), works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, self-criticism, life stressors, and unresolved trauma. She believes that seeking therapy is a profound and courageous first step toward healing—especially in a world where stigma can create additional barriers to care.
Having navigated her own mental health journey, Pritika understands firsthand the complexity of living with anxiety, depression, and the weight of past experiences. She strives to create a space where clients feel deeply seen, supported, and not alone. Her work focuses on helping clients gently explore and accept the parts of themselves they may have pushed away, integrating those experiences to create a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Pritika’s Therapy Style
Pritika blends warmth, cultural humility, and direct skill-building. Her approach is trauma-focused and mindfulness-based, integrating:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
- Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)
- Mindfulness-based interventions
She teaches practical tools such as emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients manage overwhelm, improve relationships, and build resilience. Alongside skill development, she supports deeper trauma processing to help clients move beyond survival mode and into a more grounded, empowered way of living.
Her goal is to collaboratively create space for healing—from everyday stressors to long-standing wounds—while strengthening holistic well-being.
