Naya Jackson, Practicum Therapist
Bernaiyya Jackson, affectionately known as “Naya Jay” is a student at the University of Oklahoma studying to receive her Masters in Social Work. She is a mother to a compassionate toddler boy. As a graduate of Howard University, she has embodied a servitude attitude and enjoys serving as an agent of social change. Naya enjoys working with women and mothers because of her own personal and professional experiences. Her experience as an alumni of Teach for America has equipped her to passionately serve children and families in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Naya is passionate about working with women, teens, and individuals from the BIPOC community at The Woolf Center. She brings a peaceful yet cheerful character to our team. When working with clients, Naya finds laughter, motivational interviewing, and cultural work to be an important part of her sessions.
In addition to her clinical work, Naya also supports The Woolf Center behind the scenes with marketing and administrative help.
