She is trained and experienced in the areas of maternal and child health, attachment/bonding, early childhood, abuse/neglect, depression, anxiety, and family conflict/crisis. She is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive in her practice. Victoria especially enjoys supporting women through perinatal adjustment issues, parents of children ages birth to three, and older teenagers and young adults who are struggling with life transitions.
Victoria uses an integrative, strengths-based approach and incorporates techniques such as mindfulness, coaching, and cognitive-behavioral tools into her work with clients. She believes that all clients are the experts of their own lives and circumstances. Victoria partners with clients to help them process thoughts and feelings, identify goals and needs, communicate more effectively, and feel more confident. She offers a warm, encouraging, and empathetic presence in which clients can voice their feelings and concerns without judgment. Clients have reported feeling put at ease by her calm and accepting demeanor. Victoria believes that with the right support, everyone has the capacity to achieve better versions of themselves.
When she isn’t working, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband and son, going for walks, practicing yoga, and staying up to date on various topics through podcasts and audiobooks.
